OUGHT オリジナルコインケース
ハンドメイドのレザーコインケースです。今季からポーランド産のベジタブルタンニンレザーに素材を変更しました。
前面は"Hobo Nickel"をモチーフにしたデザイン、背面にはOGTロゴの型押しがほどこされています。
国産ヌメ革（工場で色吹き染色）とは異なる、革屋さんで染色し、植物や樹木から抽出した天然の渋を使うタンニンなめしをほどこした上質なベジタブルタンニンレザーを使用していますので、革本来の自然な風合いや経年変化が楽しめます。

※Hobo Nickelとは背面のレリーフになっているバッファローから"Buffalo Nickel"と呼ばれる、1913年から30年代後期まで流通した5セントなどを削って作られたものが"Hobo Nickel"。ニッケルの加工しやすさと、レリーフとなっている大きなインディアンヘッドの様々な形へと変えられる流用性の高さも人気となり、1980年代までには彫刻家らによって一つのアートシーンにも発展したようです。
